I can’t believe I get to be the daddy of these two fine kids. “Lord, Please don’t let me mess it up. Give me wisdom and them forgiving hearts.”
Chelsea is beautiful, inside and out. Chelsea Taylor Vincent, our first child, was born on August 10, 1993. She played varsity softball and soccer for her high school and sang in the school’s chamber choir, winning several state competitions. She is a full-time graduate student at Villanova University (full scholarship). Chelsea is a leader. She was elected president of both her Honors Program and Phi Theta Kappa in junior college, and she was recently elected Vice President of Communications for her class at Villanova. She is looking for a PhD program. Chelsea is a scholar in the making. The first picture is at the home of her best friend, Ashley. Chelsea and I spent a summer on an archaeological dig in Israel with my seminary and the Israel Antiquities Authority. The second picture is of Chelsea (age 14) entering the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem.
Noah is all boy – an elite athlete, avid outdoorsman, and prankster. Noah Jackson Vincent, our second child, was born May 7, 1998. He played elite baseball (see my Baseball Coach page) and football as a receiver and defensive end. He loves classic cars and has his own 1969 Cutlass convertible, with a 455 rocket engine. We are restoring it together (see my Classic Car Collector page), along with my 1965 Thunderbird convertible (think Thelma and Louise). Noah would like to attend McPherson College for a graduate degree in Automotive Restoration after he earns his bachelor’s in engineering at Texas A&M (he’s currently studying engineering at junior college). A classic car shop is in his future! The first picture is from a Scotland bird hunt and fishing trip we took together last Thanksgiving (2017). We had stopped into a local pub on the England side of the Tweed River that day for some authentic fish-n-chips. The second picture is when he joined our firm a few years ago as an intern in the stamp-licking and filing department. The third is from a father-son Disney World trip we took together in 2005.
